Demand Wilderness on Feb 15, Monday, 2:30pm in Las Cruces at the SENATE FIELD HEARING in the Corbett Center Ballroom.
Senators Bingaman and Udall to host field hearing on Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks Wilderness Act. This is likely the FINAL public hearing on this important legislation.
A large turnout is crucial for wilderness designation in the Organ Mountains.
Wilderness opponents have promised to turn out in force. Don't let those who would sell off or damage these precious lands to have the last word. Join in supporting the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks Wilderness Act.
We'll make it easy to get to this historic hearing--but we need you!
This is it! Hope to have you join in protecting special lands like the Organ Mountains and Broad Canyon. Call/email/RSVP to Nathan Small, and we'll see you on Feb. 15th!

- Discuss
why you value wild public lands, how you use them or enjoy them,
and why you think they should be protected for future generations.
- Identify
your personal connection to a particular place, such as Broad
Canyon or the East Potrillos, and give one or two reasons why
protection would be good for this place.
